Support for the impact of distressing events, with treatment shaped around your needs, including EMDR when appropriate.
Help navigating loss, relationship changes, and the questions about identity and purpose that can arise in midlife.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Rooted in Monmouth County for more than 40 years.
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be yourself—without having to edit your story.
My approach is collaborative and personal. We’ll explore what matters to you, build on your strengths, and choose ways of working that fit your life.
My experience includes supporting people affected by trauma and sudden loss, as well as veterans and their families. I bring an affirming approach to LGBTQ+ identities and relationships.
Outside my practice, you’ll often find me gardening, spending time with family and pets, or enjoying our shore community.
Working together
We’ll begin exploring what you hope will change and identifying things in your life that may be tripping you up or causing distress. Together, we’ll set treatment goals and a plan to accomplish those goals.
Your experience guides our work. We’ll identify your strengths and decide together what you want to focus on.
We can explore patterns in thoughts and behaviors and practice skills to help you respond differently to difficult situations.
EMDR is one option for working with distressing memories. We’ll discuss whether it suits your needs and what the process involves.
When helpful, expressive arts can offer another way to explore feelings that are difficult to put into words.
